Welcome to the

"STONE ROOM"

We love stones -- the colors, textures, sparkle & shine. Whether it's beads or nuggets, gemstones, semi-precious stones, cabochons or chips, we really enjoy creating our jewelry from Earth's treasures. To learn more about the stones in our jewelry, join us in the "Stone Room". Each season we'll feature several gemstones that we use in our jewelry and share info about them -- distinctive features, unusual locations, metaphysical information both new age and ancient. Read more about it.
We look forward to your Email comments and ideas -- let us know if you have some information to share about your favorite stones.

SIDEBAR ON “BIRTHSTONES”

The popular idea of having a stone associated with your birth month dates back over 4 centuries to 15th century Germany/Poland. However, the first mention of associating stones with the zodiac is found in the Bible/Old Testament where 12 gemstones are mentioned together repeatedly...scholars have derived those stones with zodiac references.

The types of stones associated with the months of the year have changed over time. The last “modern” update is based on a vote taken by the National Gemology Society in 1912.
